MERCEDES-BENZ F1 DRIVER EXPERIENCE WITH NICO ROSBERG

It’s rare that Formula One drivers take time out of their busy schedule in the lead up to a major race. So when Nico Rosberg agreed to take part in a series of short films celebrating the cities in which milestone races are hosted, we couldn’t turn down the offer to be involved. Nico joined McLaren legend David Coulthard for a customised tour around Melbourne that was captured on film, edited and posted live across Mercedes-Benz, AMG, F1 and team sponsor Hugo Boss web platforms within a 24 hour time frame. The journey began at Hugo Boss’ Melbourne flagship store at Crown and finished at Melbourne City Helipad on the Yarra River. 3 Degrees managed all logistics and PR activities within this unique content activation.

This special Mercedes-Benz project is being replicated in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Montreal, Monaco, Mexico-City and London.

LEADING HOTELS OF THE WORLD E-TRAVEL BROCHURE

We were recently approached by Leading Hotels of the World to create a digital travel guide as part of their “Leading Famils” initiative. The purpose was to provide select travel agents with a PDF document detailing the options available for famils at some of their finest hotels and resorts around the world. The document had to be optimised for mobile devices so users could easily browse content on their phone or tablet, yet reflect the exceptional experience they receive at these selected hotels. The end result utilised the brands strong style guide to create a mini luxury travel magazine with stunning imagery and editorial style layouts.

We loved working with Leading Hotels of the World to create a truly unique E-Brochure in which they were delighted to unveil to an exclusive group of clientele.

It was a pleasure working with Peroni Nastro Azzurro to help celebrate and leverage its association with the 2015 Portsea Polo. Across a three day activation, a montage of exclusive events were developed to act as a platform for media integration as well as hosting VIP customers and special guests of the Italian lifestyle brand.

To commence the highly anticipated weekend, Peroni and GQ Australia Editor-In-Chief Nick Smith, welcomed guests aboard the Peroni yacht to enjoy an evening of sunset drinks. The main objective of hosting this event was to introduce Peroni’s International guests to Australia. Following a day of world-class polo on the Saturday, Peroni concluded the weekend with an intimate poolside Sunday lunch at a stunning private Italian villa in Sorrento. MASTER PAINTERS REDESIGN

We were recently given the opportunity to create a new style guide for the Victoria and Tasmania branches of Master Painters Australia.

The main aim of the rebrand was to bring some much needed cohesion to the existing stationery, print collateral and members kits which overtime had become busy and disjointed with the logo being the only element tying each piece together.

Bright primary colours were retained from the unaltered logo to tie in the original brand while a modern slab serif font family brought a strong, casual yet professional look to the communications.

Overall the result is modern, vibrant strong and most importantly consistent across all communications.

BRINGING INTERNATIONAL STYLE TO THE WORLD OF BEER WITH PERONI

3 Degrees was appointed by Italian beer brand, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, to leverage Peroni’s sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) and drive PR outcomes for the brand.  Although multiple Peroni activations took place during the week, the PR strategy centred around the execution of an intimate dinner party.

Hosting an exclusive group of media, celebrities and fashion influencers, the dinner party celebrated Peroni’s association with MBFWA and welcomed Peroni’s global ambassador, Antonio Berardi, to Australia.  Berardi, a Milan-based fashion designer whose brand is a regular feature on red carpets around the world, has enjoyed a long-term ambassadorship with Peroni, sharing the values of Italian style and craftsmanship. Naturally, the event took on the Italian style of both brands with Pendolino restaurant designing a tailored menu and contemporary Italian furnishings provided by Space Furniture. Guests of the event included magazine editors, fashion blogger Nicole Warne, model Shanina Shaik, the Stenmark twins and other friends of Peroni.

Through a number of feature articles secured and published prior to the Milan-based designer’s arrival, anticipation and excitement was built around his visit, with Antonio positioned as Peroni’s exclusive international guest.  Peroni’s key message of ‘bringing style to the world of beer’ formed the crux of the editorial procurement strategy.  3 Degrees successfully pitched feature stories to a targeted group of desired media outlets and achieved coverage in Sunday Style (Sunday Herald Sun & Sunday Telegraph), Vogue Australia, RUSSH, The Australian, D’MARGE, Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE and more.
