‘Melbourne Crush’ for World Wildlife Day

Saturday the 3rd of March is World Wildlife Day, a United Nations initiative that raises awareness for the planet’s wild animals, in an effort to help protect them from over-exploitation and suffering.

This year, 3 Degrees Marketing is proud to be working with Australian NGO and For the Love of Wildlife, on an action calling event to ban the cruel ivory and rhino horn trade industry in Australia and safe-guard the African rhinos and elephants. In order to shed light on this crisis, Melbourne will host Australia’s first ivory and rhino horn destruction event, aptly named ‘Melbourne Crush’.

Set to take place at 1pm at Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne Crush will publicly destroy all donated ivory and rhino horns, demonstrating the desire for change and sending a message to the government that the Australian public are desperate to put an end to this trade. Australian fashion designer Collette Dinnigan OAM has taken on the role as event ambassador together with prominent supports such as Neil Perry AM, Asher Keddie, Helena Christensen, John Farnham, Jason Gillespie and Former NZ Prime Minister Helen Clark.
Join us in making a difference – head down to Bourke Street Mall on Saturday the 3rd of March to see this trade #gone4good

SEEK Future of Work event series

3 Degrees were proud to work with long term client SEEK to deliver an interstate series of corporate events. The 2016 Future of Work events were rolled out for the first time throughout April and May, with the anticipation of developing them into an annual series.

Consistent with this series, the Sydney event was hosted by CEO & Co Founder of SEEK, Andrew Bassat. Centring on the future of work in Australia and the global employment marketplace, Andrew invited two keynote, influential speakers to share their views with SEEK’s key Sydney based clients.

The first guest speaker David Thodey, former CEO of Telstra and global business leader focused on technology and telecommunications. With over 30 years experience, David discussed corporate competitors in the digital age and the importance of HR leaders preparing their workforce for change. Bernard Salt (Keynote Speaker, Social Editor/Columnist, The Australian) spoke about Australia’s working future as well as global trends.

The Sydney Future of Work event was hosted on the rooftop of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), an understated yet sophisticated venue in an iconic location that overlooks two of Australia’s greatest icons, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.

3 Degrees have a proud history of working with SEEK to deliver premium and exclusive events in line with SEEK’s company values.

Mitchelton Wines collateral design

Set in the picturesque region of Nagambie, Mitchelton Winery is an amazing property with a deep history and a commitment to producing superb regional wines. As such, we jumped at the opportunity to help with redesigning the wineries vintage booklet and accompanying marketing collateral.

We wanted completely consistent product shots so started by reconstructing each wine bottle digitally using the label artwork, a simpler and more economical solution than photography.

We then modified the existing style guide to create a softer, fresher and more modern look, while utilising uncoated paper stocks gave it a raw, natural feel that echoed the brands quality feel and heritage.

The result is a set of collateral that looks quality, natural and totally at home on the vineyard.

We thank Mitchelton Wines for the amazing opportunity to work on such a quality brand.
