3 Degrees worked closely with Gucci to identify and invite an intimate group of VIP customers to celebrate the launch of the brand’s DIY service in Australia, allowing customers to personalise their garment selections.
Guests were greeted at the flagship boutique on Collins Street to enjoy a private viewing and shopping experience before they were transferred in a fleet of cars to one of Melbourne’s premier dining establishments; Vue de monde. Gucci were granted exclusive use of the venue, including private use of the restaurant’s popular Lui Bar.
DIY components were integrated during pre dinner drinks; guests invited to crush rose petals with liquid nitrogen to sprinkle onto their drinks or smoke rosemary, thyme and oregano into a glass, adding cognac to the smoking beverage.
A custom six course degustation menu was then served to guests by restaurant owner and head chef, Shannon Bennett, in the Estuary Room which boasts expansive views of the Melbourne skyline. Bennett took guests through an immersive DIY dining experience as the night unfolded.
This intimate, meticulously detailed and private experience triumphed in delivering desired outcomes to a carefully selected group of existing and potential clientele.
