Saturday the 3rd of March is World Wildlife Day, a United Nations initiative that raises awareness for the planet’s wild animals, in an effort to help protect them from over-exploitation and suffering.
This year, 3 Degrees Marketing is proud to be working with Australian NGO and For the Love of Wildlife, on an action calling event to ban the cruel ivory and rhino horn trade industry in Australia and safe-guard the African rhinos and elephants. In order to shed light on this crisis, Melbourne will host Australia’s first ivory and rhino horn destruction event, aptly named ‘Melbourne Crush’.
Set to take place at 1pm at Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne Crush will publicly destroy all donated ivory and rhino horns, demonstrating the desire for change and sending a message to the government that the Australian public are desperate to put an end to this trade. Australian fashion designer Collette Dinnigan OAM has taken on the role as event ambassador together with prominent supports such as Neil Perry AM, Asher Keddie, Helena Christensen, John Farnham, Jason Gillespie and Former NZ Prime Minister Helen Clark.
Join us in making a difference – head down to Bourke Street Mall on Saturday the 3rd of March to see this trade #gone4good
We look forward to working on our 4th consecutive Portsea Polo, with 2018 marking Stella Artois’ exciting debut as the presenting partner.
European illustrator Nina Fuga was engaged to create bespoke Stella Artois illustrations, forming the exclusive 2018 Stella Artois at the Portsea Polo official invitation.
Nina has worked with a range of big names such as Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Collette Dinnigan, Vogue and Condé Nast Traveller.
A highlight from this initiative was certainly collaborating with Space Furniture who generously loaned a collection of stunning Maxalto and B&B Italia furniture for the evening.
The pieces featured at the Sensorium dinner included Maxalto’s ‘Antares Table’ and B&B Italia’s ‘Eileen Table’, which were perfectly paired with the Porro ‘Gentle Chairs’.
The Stella Artois Sensorium is a global, multi-sensory dining experience pairing food with the renowned beer. Following the Sydney Sensorium’s success earlier in 2017, 3 Degrees flew Adam D’Sylva from Melbourne’s Coda and Tonka restaurants to Western Australia for the Perth Sensorium Series.
Held at two of Stella Artois’ Spiritual Homes, Adam presented guests with a tailored menu inspired by Stella Artois across two evenings, showcasing his culinary talents in an interactive and inspiring style.
3 Degrees launched Melbourne’s largest mixed-use development project, Melbourne Square with OSK Property Group in October.
Guests were invited to experience ‘A Day in the Life’ at Melbourne Square with a selection of Melbourne restaurant and bar ‘pop ups’ from hot spots such as Chin Chin, Movida, Rosetta and Saké Bar & Restaurant.
For the seventh consecutive year, 3 Degrees were engaged to produce the Coca-Cola Amatil AFL Grand Final Experience, which saw guests enjoy hospitality in Melbourne across the AFL Grand Final weekend.
The annual event is an opportunity for Coca-Cola Amatil to engage and connect with key customers across multiple touch points over the weekend in a relaxed, social setting. This year the program featured a formal seated dinner at Alfred Place, daily breakfast functions at The Westin Melbourne and hospitality within the Olympic Atrium at the Melbourne Cricket Ground before and after the AFL Grand Final.
Guests were also offered travel arrangements over the weekend and were gifted with bespoke keepsakes.
3 Degrees offered end to end management across travel, event planning, graphic design and production, and event logistics including onsite staff services.
3 Degrees were proud to work with long term client SEEK to deliver an interstate series of corporate events. The 2016 Future of Work events were rolled out for the first time throughout April and May, with the anticipation of developing them into an annual series.
Consistent with this series, the Sydney event was hosted by CEO & Co Founder of SEEK, Andrew Bassat. Centring on the future of work in Australia and the global employment marketplace, Andrew invited two keynote, influential speakers to share their views with SEEK’s key Sydney based clients.
The first guest speaker David Thodey, former CEO of Telstra and global business leader focused on technology and telecommunications. With over 30 years experience, David discussed corporate competitors in the digital age and the importance of HR leaders preparing their workforce for change. Bernard Salt (Keynote Speaker, Social Editor/Columnist, The Australian) spoke about Australia’s working future as well as global trends.
The Sydney Future of Work event was hosted on the rooftop of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), an understated yet sophisticated venue in an iconic location that overlooks two of Australia’s greatest icons, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.
3 Degrees have a proud history of working with SEEK to deliver premium and exclusive events in line with SEEK’s company values.
Set in the picturesque region of Nagambie, Mitchelton Winery is an amazing property with a deep history and a commitment to producing superb regional wines. As such, we jumped at the opportunity to help with redesigning the wineries vintage booklet and accompanying marketing collateral.
We wanted completely consistent product shots so started by reconstructing each wine bottle digitally using the label artwork, a simpler and more economical solution than photography.
We then modified the existing style guide to create a softer, fresher and more modern look, while utilising uncoated paper stocks gave it a raw, natural feel that echoed the brands quality feel and heritage.
The result is a set of collateral that looks quality, natural and totally at home on the vineyard.
We thank Mitchelton Wines for the amazing opportunity to work on such a quality brand.
