CORNWALL STODART’S BUSINESS LEADER LUNCHEON SERIES

We managed another successful Business Leader Luncheon for top-tier law firm Cornwall Stodart, hosted by Managing Partner Michelle McLean and Chairman John Hutchings.  This week, we welcomed business leader Mohan Jesudason, former Managing Director Gaming and Group Marketing at Tabcorp Holdings.  Mohan shared his business philosophies, strategies on managing people, and his fascinating journey transitioning between different industries.

This series of events offers Cornwall Stodart a platform for partners to develop relationships with prospective clients, as well as strengthen bonds with existing stakeholders in a professional and relaxed environment.

MITCHELTON WINES ROYAL MELBOURNE SHOW ACTIVATION

Over 500,000 attended the Royal Melbourne Show this year and the interest generated in the specialised epicure pavilion, “Taste of Victoria”, was outstanding. Proud supporting sponsor Mitchelton Winery chose to leverage their sponsorship activation with a custom POS build for brand engagement and sampling.

The 3 Degrees Events team worked with Mitchelton Winery to ensure the activation space reflected their rebrand and promoted newly renovated event spaces, including the Muse Restaurant. The activation was designed to operate on multiple levels (part retail, part brand activity) and also included a unique brand experience and prize for targeted data capture.

Located only 90 minutes from Melbourne on the banks of the mighty Goulburn River; Mitchelton Winery is a picturesque and inspiring setting for your next special event.

MADONNA’S TIARA – THE TALK OF THE TOWN

3 Degrees’ PR team was lucky enough to be asked by Sotheby’s Australia to help them launch their ‘Age of Elegance’ Exhibition & Private Sale.  The collection included incredible Jewels from renowned designers and displayed ‘off-the-table’ items including Madonna’s wedding tiara and Clark Gable’s cigarette case.

The media interest generated from this project was enormous, with multiple breakfast programs clamouring for camera time with the Jewels.  Off the back of the success of this project, we’re proud to now have Sotheby’s Australia as a retainer client!  Their first auction for the year will be held on the 23rd April at their Sydney premises; impressive jewels are going under the hammer including a ring formerly owned by Barbra Streisand.  Visit sothebysaustralia.com.au for more information.

3 DEGREES WELCOMES OMEGA TO THE FAMILY

Our design department are proud to announce they have been engaged to work with Omega Watches to produce a custom sales kit for their range of iconic watches. We would like to officially welcome Omega and thank their very astute brand manager for approaching us at the beginning of Spring – it’s a humbling honour to be sought out, especially by such an iconic brand. Our first piece of work with Omega is set to enter production and we couldn’t be more proud of the attention to detail and quality finish our teams have collaboratively achieved. We’re looking forward to growing the relationship and helping Omega achieve their goals in the Australian market.

SOTHEBY’S AUSTRALIA AGE OF ELEGANCE EXHIBITION AND PRIVATE SALE

We were thrilled when Sotheby’s Australia asked us to help them raise awareness of their Age of Elegance Exhibition and Private Sale that includes Clark Gable’s cigarette case and Madonna’s wedding tiara. Not only will the exhibition include some jaw-dropping jewellery from old and new Hollywood, there will also be exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces for sale, sourced from around the world over the last 12 months.

3 Degrees put together a tailored PR plan to suit Sotheby’s overall marketing objectives which included adding retail customers to their already strong database of auction customers. As part of the PR approach, 3 Degrees developed creative ways of generating buzz and excitement for the exhibition which included looking at how partnerships with high-end brands could complement the strategy.

The Age of Elegance Exhibition and Private Sale will be held from the 14th – 17th February in Melbourne, and 21st – 24th February in Sydney. Visit www.sothebysaustralia.com.au

MASTER PAINTER’S STYLE GUIDE DESIGN

We were recently given the opportunity to create a new style guide for the Victoria and Tasmania branches of Master Painters Australia. The aim of the rebrand was to bring some much needed cohesion to the existing stationery, print collateral and member’s kits which overtime had become busy and disjointed with the logo – the only element tying each piece together.

Bright primary colours were retained from the unaltered logo to tie in the original brand while a modern slab serif font family brought a strong, casual yet professional look to the communications. Overall the result is modern, vibrant, strong and most importantly consistent across all communications.

GRAINCORP AND BARRETT BURSTON MALT PARTNER WITH THE AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL BEER AWARDS

The 3 Degrees Sponsorship team is thrilled to announce GrainCorp and Barrett Burston Malt as the new Presenting Partners of the Australian International Beer Awards Presentation Dinner, to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 17 May.

The Awards Presentation Dinner is the culmination of the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA), the pre-eminent showcase for premium beer and brewing excellence in the Asia Pacific region.

This is the first year GrainCorp will be involved with the AIBA, and similarly, the first time the AIBA will have a Presenting Partner for the Awards Presentation Dinner which is attended by more than 700 brewers, industry and Government representatives.

3 Degrees is proud to be working with iconic industry brands GrainCorp and Barrett Burston Malt on this sponsorship activation and looks forward to growing this partnership with AIBA further in the years to come.

IT’S MELBOURNE SHOWTIME!

The 3 Degrees Sponsorship & Commercial Rights team have worked hard to pull together another successful year of Sponsorship for the Royal Melbourne Show, and what a year it has been. 3 Degrees have introduced a number of new brands to this year’s event, including Australian owned and operated Red Energy and premium grocery brand Thomas Dux.

Red Energy came on board as an Official Sponsor and took up Presenting Rights to the Super Show Trail Bag. This concept effectively took their brand across the entire Melbourne Showgrounds site for the duration of the Show, while Thomas Dux, also a new Official Sponsor, took up Presenting Rights to the Fine Food Deli Showbag which sold off the shelves so quickly the Show staff could hardly keep up the stock!

Finally, 3 Degrees were very excited to have Woolworths, a long-standing Principal Partner of the Show, as the proud new owners of the Woolworths Fresh Food Pavilion. Woolworths upsized their footprint in line with their new Naming Rights sponsorship with a 300sqm activation in the pavilion and showcased the best of their Macro and Select ranges, whilst also engaging children through their Fresh Food Kids Farmer photos and the Paddock to Plate Wheel where kids collected stickers and won prizes from the wheel.

THOMAS DUX DELIGHTS FOODIES AT THE ROYAL MELBOURNE SHOW

We were thrilled to have our favourite specialty grocer Thomas Dux on board at the Royal Melbourne Show for their first-ever sponsorship of the iconic Victorian event. Activating inside the new Tastes of Victoria Pavilion, Thomas Dux sampled and showcased their favourite Victorian products, such as Kyneton’s Piper Street Food Co. specialising in charcuterie, delicious gourmet goods from Il Migliore, and decadent chocolates from Koko Black.

As part of their involvement in the Show, Thomas Dux were also a proud sponsor of the prestigious Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards’ Delicatessen Category, awarding Champion Delicatessen, Smallgoods and Uncooked Sausage.

The 3 Degrees PR team helped Thomas Dux leverage their sponsorship of the Show with a tailored PR plan across traditional forms of media as well as social media.

WORKING IN ALL DIMENSIONS

Turning a creative theme into a three-dimensional creative visual is 3 Degrees’ Design department’s forte, which is why we jumped at the opportunity to provide Coca-Cola Amatil with creative 3D visualisations for their AFL Grand Final Hospitality event to support our Events team’s creative concept.

We started by mapping out the venue’s floor plan, then rapidly built walls, staging, all proposed furniture and other objects to create and shape the event’s aesthetic. Once the scene was built, we added individual textures to each object, set up a virtual lighting rig and positioned individual cameras for the final rendered viewpoints.

3D Rendering for event concept visualisation not only helped CCA understand exactly what their event would look like, but also helped us execute an event with elements that were proportional to the space. The end result was a CCA Clubhouse Pub theme which translated perfectly within the space at the MCG. Pictured above left is just one element of the creative that was designed before construction, allowing the client to sign off on exactly what they wanted.
